Jesse was born and raised in Anaconda, Montana, graduating from Anaconda High School in 1989. He attended the University of Montana in Missoula where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Physics in 1993. Jesse went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Montana’s School of Law in 1997. Jesse’s law practice has focused on insurance defense work since he began practicing law in 1997. His practice focuses on defense of personal injury suits, construction defect claims, uninsured motorist or underinsured motorist claims, coverage issues, strict product liability cases, and insurance bad faith/Unfair Trade Practice Act violations.
Jesse is a partner at Bohyer, Erickson, Beaudette & Tranel, P.C. in Missoula and has achieved an AV Preeminent rating with Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system. Jesse had tried approximately 12 cases to a verdict in Montana’s state and federal district courts and, more recently, has been assisting younger attorneys with their first trials. He is admitted to practice in all Montana State and Federal District Courts, the Montana Supreme Court, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Montana Bar Association, the Western Montana Bar Association, the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers’ Association and the American Bar Association.
Jesse and his wife, Erin, enjoy spending time with their daughters Brooklynn and Irelyn. They enjoy all outdoor activities western Montana has to offer, including camping, fishing, hiking and biking. Jesse also enjoys hunting with friends and family.
